Translational Teams

Five year impact report

Research with a positive impact

Complex health challenges require inquisitive minds with innovative ideas, and the best solutions come from teams with diverse backgrounds, skillsets and perspectives. Our translational teams are made up of researchers, clinicians, community partners, government leaders, industry innovators and students who are eager to translate research into action. Teams are focused on deeply understanding a health challenge, developing a solution and following the solution through to its outcome. The end result is the development of practical solutions that improve people’s daily lives and the overall health of our communities.

Turning discoveries into new solutions

Student opportunities

Undergraduate and graduate students can make a significant impact on our translational teams by contributing their unique perspectives, creativity and enthusiasm. As a student member, you can assist with research, work on programs and more. Plus, translational teams are a great way to fulfill your experiential learning requirement as you directly impact the health of people in the community.

Community partners

Community partners are essential members of our translational teams. Driving our research forward, they provide valuable insights into the questions we’re asking, the problems we’re solving and the solutions we’re testing. Partners work in clinical settings, schools, businesses and nonprofits. We are always looking for more community partners, whether they have ideas on what we should be researching or want to contribute to existing projects. Join our network of more than 90 partners today.
